how to record payment
- open the ontrack app on your phone and log in
- tap the “customer” tab on the bottom navigation bar to view your customer list
- select the customer who has made a payment
- go to the “sales” tab – this shows all sales and outstanding balances for that customer
- choose the relevant sales record (the invoice or due item) that the payment is for.
once you open that sale.
- you should see an option to enter/record payment.
- enter the payment amount(full or partial)
- choose the payment method (e.g,cash, bank transfer,pos,others)
- add an optional note (eg receipt number or payment refrences)
- Tap “pay” (or similar) to finalize the payment.
